2X made this program for monitoring Terminal Services sessions on a server and limit the sessions by version, IP, server name etc...cool program. I can never find it quickly so I am re-hosting it here. I found an article one time that showed you how to hex edit the terminal services DLL to define a custom version number. Using that and this utility will prevent some one from getting in through RDP directly. The down side is you have to have that specific DLL on the machine you're remoting with. If I find the article I'll link to it from here.
Adaware was great when it was version 1.0.6. I've upgraded since then but the whole program has gone south. Menu items aren't even close to where they were before. On 1.0.6 I could jump right into updating the definitions list and scanning my PC, the newer version has me moving my mouse all over the program window to click buttons as bloated as the software is now. I'll stick with 1.0.6. It's light, it's fast and the UI is unobtrusive to "get in get out" scanning.
Anthem.net might be a great no-code ajax solution. This guy seems to paint it in a pretty light:

If this works as well as I hope it might beat out Ajaxium for ease of use and cost. :)
I remember the days of working on a Cisco router by command line only. I have since used the Java front end on a 1710 and it was fine but I missed being able to graphically map my network configurations then load the config file in ROM. Come on, that beats the pants off hapless clicking in a Java applet right? Since Cisco requires a login to get the newer versions I thought I'd throw this up if anyone else wants to play with it.
Daemon Virtual CD has gone through a few iterations over the years. I found a site a few years ago after deciding to give it a try. It had listed all the versions you could download with feature lists for each one. I did a little poking around and found there was a version with no SPYWARE. After a certain version they decided to pry into thier users lives. I don't recall that version but the one I have is the last one without the garbage. You can have up to 5 virtual drives that can be enabled with mounted ISOs on a whim. This is great for hosting virtual servers as well. I've got all my software in ISO images now. Anyway, if you need it great, if not then you might not know what this is for anyway.
